Animating Lenticulars at The Bronx Zoo Madagascar Exhibit by Depthography

Depthography is pleased to have been selected to work on this innovative display project as part of the exciting, new MADAGASCAR exhibit which opened in April, 2008 at the Wildlife Conservation Society's Bronx Zoo urban wildlife park. We worked closely with their graphics bureau director Sharon Kramer Loew and her talented staff to provide WCS with the best possible utilization of their imagery. The panels present complex transitional animation sequences. A chameleon changes colors, a frog bellows, a bell bird shrieks, a monarch butterfly metamorphoses from it's cocoon. Finally, for those wishing a tour de`force, a bouncing safaka leaps from panel to panel to panel in a stunning triptych display. The result is an exciting, truly interactive exhibit area that provides a memorable, fun experience to visitors while conveying the all-important message of the WCS and the work they do worldwide.
