Robert Anthony Munn has been involved with stereo photographic imaging since 1978 and lenticular imaging since 1984. He has produced innovative and unusual works in standard 35mm stereo formats ( StereoRealist, View Master, wide-format 3-d, experimental three dimensional films, light sculpture, Hyperstereo, etc.) Mr.Munn's stereo photography was utilized for a series of viewmaster reels created for the Intrepid Sea Air & Space Museum, and has taken stereo photographs of Sterling Hayden, Eric Clapton, B. B. King, Albert King, James Brown, Aretha Franklin, David Bowie, Aerosmith, Adrian Belew, David Stewart, George Clinton, Melissa Etherage, in addition to a large body of stereo photographic work documenting New York over a period of many years. His involvment with Lenticular imaging began in 1986, producing his first image in 1987. He started The Depthography Group to create lenticular imaging as an art form in 1990. In 1991 he founded Depthography, Inc. and was responsible for a number of significant technical advancements to the state of the art, including the first computer graphics based 3-D animated lenticular images, the first images containing over 36-50 frames of animation, and the first 2-D/3-D conversions from a single flat image. That year he was also part of the production crew of "Concert for The Earth", a 3-D Panavision/ ShowScan film presented at Expo'92 in Spain. In 1992, he opened the first lenticular art gallery in the world, The Virtual Image Gallery, and collaborated with the noted Swiss artist H.R. Giger for his "Watch Abart" shows which had simultaneous openings in New York and Geneva in 1993. Since then, Mr. Munn and his talented associate Sara Cook have had a number of successful shows of their work at the Proposition gallery and DeutscheBank gallery in N.Y.C, Art Expo in Miami, See-It FX gallery in L.A, were commissioned by Radio Shack inc. to create original artwork for the reception area of their world headquarters in Texas, and have continued to create innovative products, displays, installations, and imagery for a wide range of clientele worldwide.

Though the process has been in existence since the turn of the century, Depthography has expanded the capacities of this method far beyond anything previously accomplished on many levels and always continues to push the envelope and ride the wave of ever changing technology.
In addition to full color Parallax Panoramagrams, they now produce animated multi-dimensional images containing a motion/time factor.
Liquids pour, boxers punch and girls dance. The effect appears as a motion picture, a captured moment takes place. A Four- Dimensional Image. These can be produced from various source material, including photographic, cel animation, video disc, and computer generated imagery. Mr. Munn's original works , as well as those by other members of the group have been on display at various exhibits around the World.
